Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager (General) Position Summary: Assists the Clinical Nurse Manager in the responsibilities for the daily operational needs of the assigned area. Participates in the management of human and material resources as well as program planning and evaluation. Provides input and participates into the development and management of the budget. Provides supervision of employees, participates in hiring, assigns work, coaches, trains, evaluate performance and completes simple disciplinary actions. Actively works to ensure optimal deliver of care as well as performance improvement initiatives either through direct involvement and membership or by occasionally leading PI team efforts. Able to actively collaborate with peers, subordinates and supervisors in constructive problem solving as well as to facilitate frequent team building interactions with staff. Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager - Medical Oncology Position Summary: Registered Nurses who practice in our facility are characterized by their passion and compassion. Working closely with their physician colleagues, these professionals deliver care, and are called upon to assess if a transfer from outpatient to inpatient status is advisable when intense treatment or observation placement may be required. Our facility includes care of autologous, allogeneic and matched unrelated HCT patients, and overflow hematology patients as necessary. Our facility also includes patients who are status post-auto, allogeneic or MUD transplants that have been readmitted post-transplant. Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:
